It first started it would only be the champions from each SA professional league and the 1st ever champion was Penarol from Uruguay. Than the changed it to the 2 top teams from each league. Which it was still a fair tournament, but now it's the most unfair and corrupt tournament in the world. This is the reason why. Brazil gets a total of 7 spots and Argentina gets 6 total spots but every other country get either 4 or 3 total spots. So it's simple mathematics the more teams you have representing a country have more of a chance of winning the tournament than a country that has a lot less teams. That why there is always a Brazilian or Argentine team in the final and no it's not because they are that much better than everyone else it's just simple mathematics. Even the last 3 finals were just 2 teams from Brazil. The only way it would be a fair tournament is if every country had the same numbers of teams in it. But of course since Brazilian teams couldn't win when it was a fair tournament. Brazil made sure that they would have the most number of teams in the tournament so they would win more. If you don't believe me than explain why Brazil and Argentina has more teams than any other country

Glad someone is optimistic about McKennie. With the midfield Juventus have, I'm afraid he's never going to see the pitch. Gio has it a little better, but not much. Pepi didn't get a sniff of the field, AGAIN... I love Tillman but that dude needs an attitude adjustment or something. Looks disinterested far too often, but when he wants to play he does a hell of a job. I did watch the game and it wasn't surprising to see him pulled at half. Really want to see him step it up this year. And de Jong is probably one of those strikers who'll be starting until he's nearly 40, so Pepi needs to find a new home too. The way i see it, Pocchetino has been given 18 months to find his team. And step 1 of that is to see who in the current squad doesnt make the cut. So id expect his first roster to look pretty much exactly the same as what weve been doing for a few years, and from there he'll start rapidly cutting the fat (not a dig at mckennie lol)
